The SDSN continues to uphold rigorous financial stewardship and accountability standards. Under the oversight of the Board of Directors and its Finance and Audit Committee, the organization adheres to disciplined budget planning, transparent reporting, and annual independent audits. Resources are strategically allocated to strengthen core operations, expand regional network engagement, and deliver global public goods that inform policy and practice worldwide. Through prudent financial management and a focus on efficiency, the SDSN maximizes the impact of every dollar entrusted to the organization in support of sustainable development.

Operations & By-Laws

The SDSN Association is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the United States and a nonprofit Association 1901 in France. These entities host the Secretariat of the SDSN, which supports and manages the SDSN’s programs and projects. The SDSN Association serves as the institutional home of the SDSN, managing its relations with donors and partners, and ensuring that the work of the SDSN complies with all US and international laws. The Executive Committee of the SDSN serves as an Advisory Board to the SDSN Association. The SDSN Association reports on all fiduciary, legal, and operational matters to its Board of Directors.
