The GBA–ASEAN Conference Drives Regional Cooperation on the Energy Transition and Sustainable Development

On July 29 and 30, the 2026 GBA-ASEAN Conference on Energy Transition and Integration brought together leaders from across the public and private sectors in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to strengthen regional cooperation and accelerate the implementation of sustainable development solutions.

Our Work

As the world's largest knowledge network for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) works under the auspices of the UN Secretary-General to mobilize the world's universities, think tanks, and national laboratories to identify and develop global and local solutions for action on the world's most critical sustainable development challenges. We operate at the intersection between science, policy, and development practice to promote the SDGs and the Paris Agreement through education, research, policy analysis, and global cooperation.

Our Networks

The SDSN mobilizes the world's leading knowledge institutions and leverages their strengths to help promote practical solutions to sustainable development challenges and realize the SDGs and the Paris Agreement. Spanning six continents, the SDSN network comprises over 2,200 member institutions, primarily universities, coordinated by 60 National and Regional Networks.
