Education & Training Advancing a Global Community of Learners and Education for Sustainable Development
From early childhood education to professional development, Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) serves as a pivotal tool in cultivating lifelong learners equipped with the requisite knowledge and skills to effect meaningful change. The education and training initiatives, spearheaded by the SDG Academy, are dedicated to expediting transformative educational programs and professional training aimed at advancing the SDGs and realizing the 2030 Agenda.
The SDSN’s work in education and training connects educators, policymakers, educational institutions, learners, industries, and professionals, thus fostering an exchange of knowledge for the SDGs. The SDG Academy, Global Schools, Mission 4.7, and the Master’s in Development Practice (MDP) program cater to learners across various educational tiers, establishing enduring partnerships with subject matter experts and leaders within both the SDSN and the broader United Nations networks.
