Alex Goh is a Research Analyst of the ASEAN Green Future (AGF) Project, an initiative that researches and informs ASEAN climate change policy analysis.
Alex holds a doctorate degree from Auckland University, specialising in mathematical modelling of physical and physiological systems. Prior to his role at the SDSN, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Western Australia. Currently, he works closely with the Asian and ASEAN leaderships of SDSN to develop and analyse comprehensive energy system models to chart plausible pathways to achieve net zero carbon emission by 2050 in ASEAN region, using a myriad of numerical packages such as Low Emission Analysis Platform (LEAP) and Next Energy Modelling System for Optimisation (NEMO).
