Celeste Díaz Muga is a Program Associate for the MENA region at the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), based in New York. She supports regional projects and initiatives, while also assisting SDSN President, Professor Jeffrey D. Sachs, with strategic initiatives, research coordination, and high-level logistics.
Originally from Chile, Celeste holds a Master’s of Science degree from Columbia University and previously completed a one-year internship at Columbia’s Center for Sustainable Development. She began her career in journalism, specializing in crisis management and public relations, and has worked with Chile’s former Minister of Education, Mariana Aylwin. Her professional background spans sustainable development, public policy, communications, and international coordination, with particular interests in social impact and AI-driven approaches to public policy and governance.
