Gabriela Arnal is a skilled Communications Consultant with a diverse background. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from the University of Los Andes in Venezuela. Throughout her career, she has focused on developing and implementing communication strategies, primarily in the environmental sector. Notably, Gabriela served as a communication consultant for the Amazonia 2.0 project (2019-2023), coordinated by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), and later as a communication consultant for the REM Ecuador Program (2022-2023).
In addition to her environmental work, Gabriela has over a decade of experience in the film sector. She has made significant contributions as a director, producer, and screenwriter. Her projects include producing the short film "Symphony of the Ceiba" (2017) for the International Wood Culture Society and directing the award-winning web documentary series "CUIDANDERAS" (2019). This series, created for the Urgent Action Fund in Latin America and the Caribbean, highlights the stories of women defenders of territories.
