Guilherme Iablonovski is a geospatial data scientist at the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN). He's a co-author to the Sustainable Development Report, for which he conceptualizes and develops data for geospatial SDG indicators, and leads the data collection and processing of the data for the Index of Countries’ Support for UN-based Multilateralism. He is passionate about making use of geospatial data science to explore the intersection of environmental, urban and sustainability studies.
Guilherme is a member of the UN Inter-Agency Expert Group for the SDGs (IAEG-SDGs) and a professor at the Paris-Dauphine University's Master's Program in Conflict Transformation and Peace Studies. He holds an MSc in Urban and Environmental Planning from the Ecole d'Urbanisme de Paris, where his research focused on urban metabolism, sustainability, and the science of cities. He resides in Porto Alegre, Brazil.
