Isabella is the Senior Program Manager of the Science Panel for the Amazon (SPA). She has been working with the SPA since March 2020, overseeing all the Panel's workstreams. She has supported the production of the 2021 Amazon Assessment Report (launched at COP26), the 2025 Amazon Assessment Report (launched at COP30), as well as multiple policy briefs and white-papers launched at key policy fora. Before that, she worked in the International Institute for Sustainability (IIS) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. During that period, she assisted in several projects, such as the Climate Adaptation Plan for the State of Rio de Janeiro. Isabella has also worked in the United Nations Headquarters in New York, contributing for in-house environmental sustainability efforts ranging from greenhouse gas reporting to waste management and awareness campaigns. She is an alumna from the Master's in Development Practices (MDP), having studied in the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ) and holds a Bachelor Degree in Ecology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).
