Isabella is the Project Manager of the Science Panel for the Amazon since March 2020. She supported the production of the 2021 Amazon Assessment Report (launched at COP26) and of many other documents of the Panel, including policy briefs launched at COP27. Before that, she worked in the International Institute for Sustainability (IIS) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. During that period, she assisted in several projects, such as the Climate Adaptation Plan for the State of Rio de Janeiro. Isabella has also worked in the United Nations Headquarters in New York, contributing for in-house environmental sustainability efforts ranging from greenhouse gas reporting to waste management and awareness campaigns. She is an alumna from the Master's in Development Practices (MDP), having studied in the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ) and holds a Bachelor Degree in Ecology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).
