Ms Katja Anger-Delimi brings over 14 years of expertise in educational development, project management and communications at international level. Deeply committed to promoting transformative education and creating engaging learning experiences for educators and learners worldwide, Katja works on SDSN's new breakthrough in Education for Sustainable Development Ages of Globalization and UN at Your Doorstep. Prior to SDSN, she worked for the UNESCO Associated Schools Network on conceptualizing and implementing innovative pilot projects, campaigns, and events to promote and integrate global citizenship education, education for sustainable development, and whole-institution approaches in schools worldwide. Prior to UNESCO, Katja contributed to the OECD’s Future of Education and Skills Project and the Centre for Effective Learning Environments, focusing on the development of the Learning Compass 2030 and conducting global curriculum analysis. Her experience also includes working in technical and vocational education and training in Rwanda with the German development agency GIZ and in child protection and emergency education in Haiti with an INGO following the 2010 earthquake. In 2012, Katja was recognized as one of 20 young leaders by the German Federal Foreign Office, the German National Academic Foundation, and the Mercator Kolleg for future leaders. She holds a master’s degree in International Relations from Sciences Po Paris and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the American University of Paris and New York University.
