Amirah joined the SDSN Secretariat in 2021 and is as Senior Manager for National and Regional Networks where she leads a small team in the KL office and oversees the work of 15 national and regional networks in the Asia-Pacific. Previously, she was co-manager of SDSN Malaysia when she was with the Jeffrey Sachs Center on Sustainable Development based at Sunway University, Kuala Lumpur, where her work mainly focused on outreach, education and research for the SDGs.
Amirah holds a Master’s Degree in Corporate Environmental and Sustainability Management from Monash University, Australia and a Business Degree in International Hotel Management from the Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School, Australia.
