Philo Wang is a Senior Manager of The World in 2050 (TWI2050) team and an Advisor on the Green Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). She is co-author of BRI International Green Development Coalition’s Green Outlook Report. She also works closely with senior officials from international organizations and governments on improving the macroeconomic structure of BRI. Wang is the lead manager of SDSN’s global ethics work, including organizing the Aristotle-Confucius Symposium in China and Cambodia, and serving in the editorial committee of the Symposium Conference Volume.
Prior to joining UN SDSN, she worked for the UN Human Development Report Office at UNDP. Philo received her Master’s in Economics at Columbia University. Wang speaks English, Mandarin and Cantonese. She loves cross channel swimming and scuba diving, and she dreams of retiring in the Caribbean — one day she will.
