This event, hosted by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) & the Science Panel for the Amazon (SPA), will present an overview of the status of biodiversity in the Amazon, the risks of passing tipping points, and its impact on global biodiversity and climate change. It will not only discuss new findings that show the importance of conservation and restoration, but also discuss what we don’t know and what research gaps exist. Speakers will also present opportunities to grow a vibrant regional bioeconomy and other sustainable solutions.
