Panel Event at Columbia Looks Beyond IPCC’s 5th Report

On April 25, 2014, Laurence Tubiana, SDSN Leadership Council Co-Chair, participate in a “Panel On The 5th IPCC Report” at the Interdisciplinary Ph.D. Workshop in Sustainable Development 2014. She was joined by Scott Barrett, Lenfest-Earth Institute Professor, Natural Resources Economics, School of International and Public Affairs, Gavin Schmidt, Adjunct Senior Research Scientist, Center for Climate Systems Research, NASA/GISS, Earth Institute, and the panel was moderated by Kyle Meng, PhD. The panel discussion examined the open questions from the recent IPCC AR5 and outlined emerging research opportunities for climate science, impacts, and mitigation.
