SDSN & SustainChain Partnership Launch Event
On February 3, 2025, the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) announced its partnership with SustainChain™ during a virtual webinar. Founded in 2020, SustainChain™ is a public service platform created by the U.S. Coalition on Sustainability, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in collaboration with the United Nations. Purpose-built to support networks working toward the SDGs, the platform connects key stakeholders, including academics, impact investors, innovators, purpose-driven brands, NGOs, and alliances.
As a science-based organization at the forefront of innovation and technological advancements, the SDSN will leverage the SustainChain™ platform, powered by machine learning and artificial intelligence, to enable its community to collaborate with key stakeholders across the sustainability sector.
During the launch event, Professor Jeffrey Sachs (President of the SDSN) congratulated Jacqueline Corbelli (Co-Founder, Chairman, and CEO of BrightLine Partners LLC; Founder and CEO of US Coalition on Sustainability; SDSN Leadership Council member; and CEO of SustainChain™) on her achievements and highlighted the opportunities for the SDSN to engage with this platform. Corbelli then spoke about leveraging AI-driven insights to amplify the SDSN’s impact across the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) ecosystem.
María Cortés Puch (Vice President of the SDSN Networks Program) elaborated on the Network program’s scaling solutions and the ability for members to share best practices on SustainChain. Professor Phoebe Koundouri (Founder & Scientific Chair of AE4RIA; Co-Chair of SDSN Greece and SDSN Europe; Chair of SDSN Global Climate Hub) shared AE4RIA’s community enriching experience on SustainChain. And Joanna Hall (President of SustainChain; President and Head of Product, US Coalition on Sustainability) provided a live demonstration of the platform and details about the SDSN community on SustainChain.
