SDSN Thailand Convenes Forum Reflecting on the 10th Year of the SDGs
On November 18 - 19, 2025, the Sustainable Development Solutions Network Thailand (SDSN Thailand), convened the SDSN Thailand Public Forum 2025: The 10th Year of the SDGs - Reflections, Realignments, and the Way Forward.
Spearheaded by SDG Move (the Centre for SDG Research and Support) at Thammasat University, and held in collaboration with Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI), and the Office of the National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC), the forum marked a critical point in the SDG timeline, providing a platform to review progress, identify persistent gaps, and accelerate implementation.
The forum brought together policymakers, researchers, practitioners, and civil society representatives to reflect on national and global SDG progress, exchange insights, and develop actionable policy and research recommendations to advance Thailand’s sustainable development agenda. Discussions spanned key thematic areas, including climate resilience and local adaptation, energy transition and just decarbonization, sustainable finance and ESG transformation, sustainability in higher education and research, biodiversity, and ecosystem services.
To support continued learning and action beyond the event, SDSN Thailand has made the presentation slides from all sessions publicly available. This includes high-level perspectives from the plenary sessions as well as detailed research findings and policy recommendations from each parallel session.
