SDSN Youth and SDSN Mediterranean launch Call for Submissions for the Mediterranean Youth Solutions Report
SDSN Youth and SDSN Youth Mediterranean launched the “Mediterranean Youth Solutions Report 2021”, an incredible opportunity for young students and researchers for contributing to the UN Agenda 2030 and promoting their professional paths.
Since 2017, the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network Youth (SDSN Youth) has been annually producing the “Youth Solutions Report”, a flagship initiative managed by the Youth Solutions Program team. The Report features 50 game-changing projects led by young people, allowing them to showcase their work, and providing them with the opportunity to draw interest from potential supporters.
This year, SDSN Youth and SDSN Youth Mediterranean, in collaboration with UNEP/MAP – Barcelona Convention Secretariat through the Mediterranean Commission on Sustainable Development, are launching a call for project submissions for the realization of the “Mediterranean Youth Solutions Report 2021”, aimed to offer young people and innovators the recognition needed to scale-up their proposals at regional and international levels while advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). For the first time, the Youth Solutions Report 2021 will address students, young innovators and researchers specifically from the Mediterranean region, in order to identify, display, and celebrate transformative, youth-led solutions projects that have been operational for 12 months, contributing to the achievement of the UN 2030 Agenda and the Paris Agreement.
Gathering the best innovative selected projects addressing the Mediterranean area will be a great opportunity for the sustainable development youth advocates to share their voices and creative ideas by also increasing and reinforcing partners’ collaboration within the Network itself.
