The SDGs in 100 Spanish Cities: Launch of Report
On November 30, the Spanish chapter of the SDSN (REDS) will present its biennual report on the of compliance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in a hundred municipalities in Spain. The study, entitled “How is the 2030 Agenda progressing at the local level? A practical look", is the second edition of the 2018 pioneering report that measured the performance of the SDGs at the urban level.
After a successful public consultation, which benefited from the input of more than 130 experts in sustainable urban development and members of REDS, the results of the study will be made public in an online event on Monday, November 30th, at 11 am CET.
The report will be presented by its lead authors, Inés Sánchez de Madariaga and Javier Benayas, followed by a round table with some of the mayors who are leading the implementation of the SDGs in Spain at the local level.
The initiative is promoted by the Spanish Network for Sustainable Development (REDS / SDSN-Spain), in collaboration with the SDSN Global, Ecoembes and the Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP).
