Climate Innovation Projects Across Europe

Under the stewardship of the Networks program, the SDSN collaborates with the European Commission (under Horizon Europe) and local partners on initiatives that create systemic solutions and innovative approaches to enhance climate mitigation, adaptation, and resilience across Europe and to strengthen skills systems.

Recent efforts have included convening a high-level event in Brussels alongside the Permanent Representation of Greece to the EU and leading policymakers; expanding access to climate adaptation knowledge through a free MOOC; piloting an SDG implementation course to strengthen sustainability skills development; and advancing a sustainability-integrated VET curriculum endorsed by multiple European Centres of Vocational Excellence.

Current EU-funded projects include UNICO, CARMINE, and CATALYST. Former projects include ARSINOE and IMPETUS.
