The Arab Region SDG Index and Dashboards Report 2026 provides a comprehensive assessment of progress toward the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development across the 22 member states of the League of Arab States. The results show that progress is uneven across SDGs and across the subregions: North Africa, the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and the Levant. Several countries face severe challenges due to conflict, and evaluations of SDG progress understate recent humanitarian crises in contexts such as Gaza and Lebanon due to data lags.
