In partnership with SDSN Canada members, the network created a new guide on "Reporting on the Sustainable Development Goals for Canada's Universities and Colleges" in 2023. The Guide provides a reference point on how post-secondary institutions in Canada and around the world are reporting their progress on the SDGs, with the aim of accelerating SDGs reporting, commitments, and action by Canada’s universities and colleges.

SDSN Canada launched the "Youth Leadership Certificate for the SDGs" program in 2023, an online program that supports university and college students across the country to develop the expertise and skills to take action on the SDGs. Over the course of three months, participating students completed one online self-paced course offered by the SDG Academy, as well as attended up to six online skill-building workshops every two weeks with a variety of Canadian partner organizations.

In partnership with SDSN Canada members and the Sustainability Hub at the University of British Columbia, the network created SDG Week Canada, a national campaign to showcase the SDG strength of Canada’s universities and colleges. From March 6th to 10th of 2023, campuses across Canada organized workshops, panels, and other interactive programming to raise awareness of and engagement with the 17 SDGs.

SDSN Canada hosted the fifth iteration of the Together|Ensemble conference, Canada's national all-of-society gathering on the SDGs. The 2023 conference featured three full days of in-person and online programming showcasing SDG work across Canada, with a focus on how to accelerate the country's progress and what needs to be done differently to achieve the SDGs.
