In June 2023, SDSN Mexico held its first in-person members' meeting since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. The two-day meeting allowed members to share experiences, best practices and lessons learned over the past two years; as well as participate in workshops and networking sessions.

In 2023, two main projects were launched: the SDGs Platform for Local Action (Tec de Monterrey) and the Sustainability Needs Platform (UNAM). Both projects aim to showcase local efforts in sustainable development, while connecting specific sustainability needs with solutions and resources for effectively addressing them.

SDSN Mexico Youth organized two groundbreaking activities with enormous reach among youth and rising sustainability leaders. The 2030 Resonancia Festival was a space where music and youth-lead initiatives came together to support sustainable development in Mexico. Additionally, the network celebrated its first meeting of Youth Researchers in order to convene and mobilize their work in several sustainable development fields.

SDSN Mexico continued promoting and implementing multi-stakeholder partnerships to advance achievement of the SDGs in Mexico. In this regard, the network strengthened its collaboration with the Federal Government and the Secretariat of the 2030 Agenda, which resulted in its participation at the 1st National Convention on the 2030 Agenda in Mexico where it presented its main achievements and initiatives.
